December 11, 2017, the Plumbing Advisory Board holds its first official meeting. L & I Commissioner David Perri opened the meeting and charged the Board with their duties consistent with the Mayor’s Executive Order.  The Chairman and the Board established dates for work sessions to begin working on a new and revised Philadelphia Plumbing Code.

On August 17, 2017, Mayor Jim Kenney signs Executive Order No. 6-17 establishing the Plumbing Advisory Board.  Mayor Kenney names UAC Executive Director Walt Krzyzanowski as Chairman of the Board.  The Mayor and his team begins to interview and assemble the rest of the Board.
